HOW TO MAKE PAV BHAJI AT HOME IN 15 MINUTES

Pav Bhaji

Servings:3-4 people

Ingredients For Pav Bhaji :

  • 4 Chopped Potatoes
  • 4 Chopped Tomatoes
  • Half Glass Cauliflower
  • Half Glass Peas
  • 1-2 Chopped Carrots
  • 2 Chopped Onions
  • 1 Chopped Capsicum
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoons  butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • Ginger- garlic paste
  • Salt
  • Pav bhaji masala
  • 10 pav buns for serving
  • Chopped coriander (for garnishing)

 

Method :

  1. Wash all the vegetables in running water.
  2. Transfer potatoes, cauliflower, peas and carrots in a 2-3 litres pressure cooker. Add 1/2 cup water and salt to taste.
  3. Cover it with the lid and cook the vegetables over medium flame for 2 whistles
  4. Open the lid after 5-7 minutes or it will open naturally
  5. Mash the veggies in the cooker itself
  6. Now take a big pan
  7. Heat oil and butter in the pan .Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric , chopped onions and capsicum and cook until they are red brown
  8. Now add tomatoes and red chilli powder
  9. Add mashed veggies after sometime and mix well and finally add salt.
  10. Now add pav bhaji masala and mix well..
  11. Now add chopped coriander and lemon juice.
  12. Cut the pav buns horizontally into two halves heat the pan and shallow fry them in butter.
  13. Transfer them to serving bowl with a cube of butter.Serve hot with pav and sliced onion
