Ingredients For Upma:

- 1 Chopped Onion
- 1 Chopped Tomato
- Boiled peas (optional)
- Soaked chana Dal
- Some kadipatta leaves
- Half cup Semolina
- Half lemon juice
- 2 teaspoon oil
- Half teaspoon mustard seeds
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper
- Turmeric powder
Method:
- Take a pan …Add oil
- Now add mustard seeds , kadipatta leaves , chana dal and cook well
- Now add chopped onion and cook until it turns little red brown in color
- Add chopped tomato, turmeric powder, salt and pepper
- Finally add semolina and mix well for few minutes at medium flame
- Now add 3-4 cups water
- And let the water dry
- Pour lemon juice in it
- And the dish is ready to serve
- Garnish with fresh coriander.
