How to make ‘Paneer Pyaza Vegetable’ at home : foodieaku

PANEER PYAZA VEGETABLE

Ingredients:

  • 1 capsicum/bell pepper ( Green, yellow or red)
  • 2 small onions (Chopped)
  • 2 medium  tomatoes(Chopped)
  • Half Cup tomato puree
  • 250 gms Paneer
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • Spices:- Red chilly, salt, coriander, turmeric, green chilly, garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2-4 bay leaves
  • Tomato ketchup
  • Coriander ( for serving)
  • Half cup of water

Preparation:-

  • Heat a pan and add oil . Wait until it gets warm.
  • Now add cumin seeds  and bay leaves
  • After that add chopped slices of onion  & wait till it gets golden in color
  • Then add roughly chopped slices of capsicum and stir
  • After onion & capsicum  are cooked, add chopped slices of tomato and tomato puree along with little water
  • Next add all the above spices
  • At last, add cube sized slices of paneer to the gravy, stir and mix them
  • For taste add 2 tsp of tomato ketchup.
  • Cover with lid for 1-2 minutes
  • Serve with sprinkled coriander

Optional:-

  • We can add stir fried paneer cubes in oil . It will enhance the taste of the vegetable
  • We can also add butter to the vegetable while serving
  • Peas and mushrooms can also be added additionally to the recipie
