HOW TO MAKE FRIED IDLI AT HOME

Fried Idli

Ingredients For Fried Idli:

  • 1 glass of semolina
  • 1/2 glass of curd
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1/4th teaspoon baking soda
  • Oil
  • Chopped Onion
  • Chopped Capsicum
  • Chopped Tomatoes
  • Mustard seeds
  • Lime juice
  • Kadipatta

Method:

Take a bowl..
Add semolina, curd, salt and water .
Mix it well and make a thick batter,
Then take the idli maker ,pre heat it
Put the batter in it and cook for 12 minutes

For frying:

Heat a pan.
Add 1 tablespoon oil.
Add mustard seeds and then kadipatta.
Now add onion and capsicum till they become light brown.
Add tomatoes.
Cut the idlis in 4 parts and put in the pan and mix well.
Add salt ,pepper and lime juice.
Serve with green chutney.
